Access per File in TeamEngine
TeamEngine is excited to announce the release of Access per File, a new feature that gives administrators greater control over who can access individual files within the portal.
With Access per File, users with Administrate access in a document module can now revoke access to specific files for specific individuals or groups, without affecting anyone else's access. This removes the need to create additional groups or modules just to manage exceptions, saving time and reducing the risk of sensitive documents being accidentally exposed to the wrong people. It is also particularly useful in situations involving conflict of interest, as it allows you to precisely control which individuals have access to specific files.
The feature works seamlessly alongside existing group and module permissions, meaning there is no need to change the way you currently manage access in your portal.
Access per File is available both in document modules and directly from the calendar module, in the Agenda and under References, giving administrators full flexibility in how and where they manage file access.
